This compact barebone server not only supports today's state of the
art dual socket processors
enhanced with Gigabyte's digital PWM controllers, but also includes a large memory platform supporting
up to 768GB of DRAM. It is built to be the best performing solution for computing and memory
intensive applications (multi-tasking, virtualization, rendering, finance, science), and provide
all the connectivity standards (10GbE LAN controller, SAS 6Gb/s, PCIe Gen 3.0) required to get the
most out of it.
Also built with a 80 PLUS Gold power supply, it guarantees a high level of energy efficiency as well
as the supply safety with full redundancy feature.

overclock of the CPU cores. This is where the digital PWMs outshine the previous analog solutions.

With a 4 channels per socket and 3DPC memory architecture, a support
of up to 768GB of DDR3 memory, and a platform of 24 RDIMM/ECC UDIMM,
the GS-R12PE1 provides the adequate support for memory intensive
applications.

With the support of the latest PCI Express Gen.3.0 technology
directly on the CPU, the GS-R12PE1 is fully configured to provide users
with dramatically reduced latency and improved data bandwidth to get the
most out of its expansion accessories.
SATA 3.0 & SAS 3.0 Revisions
The GS-R12PE1 can receive up to 4 SATA or SAS 3.5" devices. It
supports connections with both SATA 6Gbs and SAS 6Gbs revisions to
benefit from today’s best data transfer rates.

separate management LAN port, this system offers comprehensive remote
